About the Family;
Our warm and outdoorsy Poppy family is looking for a full-time professional Nanny and family Assistant to join their family.
They live in Alameda, Ca.
and are looking for a wonderful caregiver to help provide balance and structure within their bustling household.
Having a reliable and energetic person to carry them through the day is essential.
They would also appreciate some light household support including laundry, meal prep, errands, and general tidying to help the household run smoothly.
Both mom and dad work outside of the home and are looking for a seasoned nanny to join their household.
Note from the Family:
Our ideal nanny has the skills to support both the kids and the parents/household.
We are looking for someone who can be a consistent, reliable partner in the management of our household.
This person should have experience with school-aged children and be able to support emotional needs at the elementary school level, as well handling the everyday tasks such as school pickup and activity drop offs, household errands and light tidying, child meal prep, and homework support.
This person should be willing and able to grow into more responsibilities related to managing the home such as organizing projects, camp and travel planning assistance etc.
, to fill time when children are still at school or activities.
Other Details:
A dedicated family car will be provided for transportation.
The candidate must be comfortable with driving for school drop off’s & pick up’s.
Some flexibility with start and end times is needed.
Occasional travel is a “nice to have”!
Qualifications: Local Candidates ONLY, please!
Experience with young school-age children for the afternoons
Must have a genuine passion for working with children and be warm, playful, and outdoorsy.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to adapt to the family's needs and routines.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years of recent, professional experience
Strong English communication skills
Strong references from past employers
Willing to pass two background checks (Trustline & Nanny Verify)
Ability to make at least a 1-3+ year minimum commitment

Valid driver's license and clean driving record CPR Certification if applicable
