*Qualifications:*
* Minimum 12 ECE units required.
* At least 3 years experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred.
* Background check required, as well as proof of vaccination and TB test.
* Must be authorized to work in the U.
S.
* CPR & First Aid certification required.
Preschool Teacher
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for preschool children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach basic academic skills such as math, language, and science
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum that align with educational standards
- Provide individualized attention and support to students who may need extra help
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience and the ability to work well with young children
- Creativity in developing engaging and interactive lessons
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Organizational skills to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities
- Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
