Preschool Teacher

The goal at Tender Hearts Preschool is to help build social, emotional, and academic skills through a play-based curriculum in a mixed-age classroom (2-5 years old).
We are looking for a qualified Preschool Teacher to join our team in a licensed child care facility.
Responsibilities: * Planning/implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum ONE day a week that promotes social-emotional and academic growth (team teaching environment) * Basic care of young children ages 2-5 years old * Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff * Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress * Maintain the health and safety of all students Qualifications: * Minimum of 12 ECE units including core classes * Previous experience in child care, teaching, or other related fields * Passionate about working with children * Ability to build rapport with children * Friendly, positive, and patient demeanor * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
