Toddler Teacher

*Teacher/ Guide* Tam Toddler/ Tam Montessori is a loving childcare center growing into Montessori methodologies.
*Job Summary* This is a full-time position at Tam Toddler for 40 hours per week.
The position is located in The Town of San Anselmo in a friendly home-based childcare residence transitioning in February to a commercial location in San Anselmo.
*Compensation* The position is offered at $32 per hour.
There are 10-paid holidays during the year.

Every day might be different, here is a list of monthly Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to: * Greets children and parents/guardians in a professional and enthusiastic manner each day.
* Ensure teammates have time to take lunch breaks, morning breaks, and afternoon breaks.
* Ensures all childcare supplies are sufficient and reports any additional supplies needed.
* Interacts with children through play, story time, and outdoor activities.
* Communicates to parents/guardians about child’s progress or needs.
* Change diapers or clothes as needed * Help children transition to sleep * Maintains written documentation of children’s nap times.
* Ensures toys and equipment are returned to appropriate places by the end of the day * Performs other related duties as assigned.
Child Caregiver Requirements and Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED required.
* CPR and First Aid Certification required.
* Clear background check * Willing to be fingerprinted.
* Vaccines and TB test required.
* Ability to always remain patient and calm.
* Reports any suspected child abuse or neglect to the appropriate authority for follow through.
* Be able to lift children up to 30 pounds.
* Physically able to perform task like sitting on the floor, bending, and standing.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $32.
