Are you looking for an alternative for costly housing in the Bay Area,
there is a secret community of cost efficient housing within the Bay Area.
It just happens to be not well known and largely misunderstood.
RV living!
RV's are recreational vehicles, there are different categories, particularly: Class A ( the motorhome style ), class C ( like the motorhome style but truck looking front end ), travel trailers ( bumper pull ) and 5th wheels.
Here are some additional things to know about RV parks:
1\.
Not all parks are created equal, or are run the same way.
So do your investigation, call and ask questions and drive by!
2\.
Most RV parks have an age requirement for the RV's, they may only accept up to 10,15 years old, etc.
and require them to be in good condition.
3.
There are often a maximum number of people that can reside in the RV.
4\.
There is an application required like most other rental situations, there are minimum standards such as a rental history, income requirements and credit & background checks done.
(easy stuff)
5\.
Most parks do not accept dangerous breed dogs, but may accept 1-2 indoor small dogs or cats.
