Our programs foster knowledge sharing and collaboration across the AI safety field.
This position can be tuned to focus on particular areas of expertise, or accommodate a generalist who thrives on variety.

Example Responsibilities
Office operations
- Plan and execute renovations and facility upgrades
- Identify and address infrastructure maintenance and repair needs
- Liaise with property management and hire and manage external vendors
- Manage procurement, delivery, and assembly of furniture, supplies, and food
- Help coordinate and/or oversee office porter team to keep office orderly and well-stocked
- Build and maintain capacity plans to anticipate needs
- Support planning and implementation of space design, moves, and reassignments
Event operations
- Coordinate with the Program team to understand logistical needs and goals for attendee experience
- Coordinate space setup for talks and workshops
- Facilitate real-time logistics and A/V operations for events
- Help coordinate travel, visas, and accommodations for Constellation guests
Member experience
- Conduct in-depth check-ins with Constellation visitors and program participants
- Synthesize insights and make recommendations regarding their experience
- Respond to and resolve requests
- Onboard and offboard new members and visitors
Skills
Organizational and project management
- Able to reliably track, manage, and prioritize a high volume of tasks, threads, and deadlines
- Skilled at synthesizing complex and ambiguous situations into concrete, cohesive plans

Compensation
$80,000 - $160,000 a year
This is a full time, on-site role.
We are willing to sponsor visas for this role; however it may be more difficult and expect to only do so for exceptional candidates.
We would like the candidate to start as soon as possible after receiving an offer, though there is some flexibility.
Our office is in downtown Berkeley, CA, thirteen seconds from the nearest BART stop.
Compensation will depend on experience, but will likely be $80k-$160k/year.
We offer catered lunches and dinners, and cover PPO health, dental, and vision insurance.
