Accounting Manager
Peking Handicraft Inc.
, an established, growing importer and manufacturer of home textile and home décor products is looking for an Accounting Manager to supervise and direct the work of accounting staff and coordinate with US operations and foreign subsidiaries to produce accurate and complete financial statements in a timely manner.

Legal residency and ability to work in US required.
Position located in South San Francisco, CA and relocation will not be offered.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure all aspects of accounting and financial management are consistent with GAAP for privately held company
-Oversee month-end closings – bank reconciliation, fixed assets and depreciation schedule, accrual, prepaid entries, and journal entries
-Oversee government filings including Sales Tax, Property Tax Statements, law labels.
-Review ongoing reporting and communications with the company’s bankers, including borrowing base calculations and covenant compliance
-Lead contact for outside tax accountant to coordinate information for federal, state, and local tax filings
-Lead contact for independent auditor throughout the year
-Cash Management – manage the company’s bank activities, including daily cash management, and bank line borrowings and month-end bank reconciliation
-Provide direction, oversight, communication, performance management, coaching, and development to staff
Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, CPA preferred
-5+ years of relevant work experience, ideally for privately held company
-Strong knowledge of GAAP, reporting and compliance
-Excellent communication skills
-Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
-Experience managing people.
Desired Qualifications:
-Bilingual in spoken and/or written Chinese to communicate with subsidiaries
-Experienced using JD Edwards and basic database management and query.
-Some Human Resources experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.
00 - $115,000.
