Job Overview: We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Staff Account to join our dynamic finance team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and a meticulous approach to handling financial data.
The Staff Accountant will serve as a critical leader in shaping the company’s accounting function and structure.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for driving the production of accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
1.
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain and update financial records, including but not limited to ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
Record and classify financial transactions with accuracy and in a timely manner.

Month-End and Year-End Close:
Help drive the accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
Help reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
3.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and reports on a regular basis.
Generate and analyze financial reports for management review.
4.
Compliance and Regulation:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and support any exam requests as needed.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations.
5.
Audit Support:
Coordinate the preparation of documents and schedules for internal and external audits.
Assist with addressing audit findings and implement resolutions.
Other:
Support tax preparation process as needed.
Support with monitoring company cash position.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification (e.
g.
, CPA) is preferred.
Finra series 7 and 24 certification is not required but nice to have
Ability to manage multiple legal entities and track intercompany transactions
Experience with quickbooks and Netsuite
Ability to consolidate multiple trial balances in excel.
Proven experience as a staff accountant, or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
