Position Overview
Autodesk revenue accountants are responsible for the most important line on our Income Statement – REVENUE! As a member of this team, you will prepare key quarter end analyses, help support new initiatives and projects, and work collaboratively with your team and other groups to come up with ideal solutions to complex problems.
You will work closely with your manager to ensure accurate revenue reporting as required under ASC 606.
In addition, you will assist with process reengineering and system enhancement projects within the order to cash cycle.

Responsibilities Perform key analyses and account reconciliations for revenue and deferred revenue related accounts on a worldwide basis Prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basis Prepare quarterly audit schedules and periodic reports to support internal and external reporting requirements Implement and document processes and procedures as required including Sarbanes Oxley compliance Support and participate in companywide projects for revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycles including requirements gathering and UAT Identify opportunities and implement programs to centralize, eliminate or automate activities Work through accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support business agreements Work closely with international locations as needed to obtain information necessary to analyze data and reconcile accounts Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience 2+ years of relevant work experience Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently Experience with monthly and quarterly close activities, account reconciliations, problem resolution, audit schedule preparation and working with external and internal auditors Working knowledge of U.
S.
GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition Preferred Qualifications CPA certification Experience working with SAP and/or Business Objects Proficiency in Excel Experience with process improvement Passion for driving business decisions by analyzing large and complex data sets Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity Effective skills and ability to understand and present data Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk! For U.
S.
-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $79,400 and $136,950.
Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
