We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with relevant fund accounting experience, including experience in a CPA firm and a preference for candidates with a background in the real estate industry.
The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of corporate accounting and ensuring precision and accuracy in financial reporting.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess excellent multi-tasking abilities, meet deadlines consistently, and have exceptional communication skills.
This role will also involve preparing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and be a key player in supporting annual audits and SEC compliance, and investor reporting.

You are relentless in your pursuit to provide excellent work product What You’ll Do: Conduct thorough review of financial reports to identify any errors, inconsistencies, or potential issues.
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare quarter-end financial reporting for multiple-entity investment funds, including financial statements, key metrics and investor capital activity statements.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and play a key role in supporting annual audit requirements which includes generating audit packages, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors and ensuring a smooth audit process.
Collaborate with the teams to prepare and update financial reports to comply with SEC rules and regulations.
Prepare ad hoc investor reports and investor communications, calculate, and analyze financial returns and performance metrics for investment portfolios.
Play a crucial role in all corporate accounting tasks from daily transactions to long-term financial planning and improvement, including but not limit to posting journal entries, reporting cash positions, forecasting cash flow, contributions and distributions, due to/from balance reconciliation and settlement.
Maintain detailed records of investor transactions, capital commitments, and interest transfer requests.
Ensure investor records to be up-to-date and accurate.
Generate reports required by lenders and work collaboratively with company departments to provide support for transactions.
Stay updated on accounting regulations, industry trends and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge continuously.
Work with team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals, sharing insights and contributing to a positive working environment.
Perform special projects as requested.
What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for CPA firm experience.
Experience in the real estate industry is highly desirable.
CPA certification is a significant advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in consolidation.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Consistently meet reporting deadlines and ensure timely completion of financial tasks.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
