ai is looking for a Corporate Controller reporting directly to the CFO.
This candidate will be responsible for enhancing and building processes and controls in all accounting-related areas including month-end close, financial reporting, audit, tax, and treasury.
The ideal candidate should have worked in both established corporations as well as fast-paced start-up environments.
S/he has proven experience with implementing systems and processes, managing external and internal stakeholders, and can roll up their sleeves to help the team succeed.
To ensure we execute our values we are looking for someone who has a passion for: Overseeing all corporate accounting and auxiliary functions including revenue, AP, AR, payroll, 401K, treasury, technical accounting, equity program, tax, financial systems, and insurance Leading the effort in publishing accurate and timely monthly financial statements in compliance with U.

GAAP Streamlining the monthly close process and implementing a monthly reporting package Ensuring the Company is adequately prepared for its annual external financial audit Serving as the technical subject matter expert in all aspects of accounting, including revenue recognition, and ensuring timely implementation of new accounting standards, including ASC 606 working closely with Financial Operations Being hands-on with foreign entity accounting and M&A accounting Managing the preparation of required statutory reporting and related audits working with local agencies and independent auditors in all countries as needed Establishing accounting policies and procedures Evaluating the current internal control environment and implementing initiatives to strengthen internal controls Owning the treasury function, including proper setup of bank accounts, timely and accurate payment to vendors and employees, and stock administration and reporting Managing, developing, and retaining a high-performing Accounting team capable of effectively scaling with business growth and working with a company-first mentality It would help if you recognized yourself in the following… Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Accounting required CPA and Big Four 4 experience required 10+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance roles, including public accounting and industry experience (corporate and operational accounting) 3+ years as a Corporate Controller Experience in working with International tax and entities IPO / fundraising experience a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to build strong relationships across the organization and lead change Strong management and leadership skills Demonstrated entrepreneurial acumen Must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment High attention to detail Impeccable ethical standards and integrity and a positive attitude Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, Avalara, Concur, Adaptive Insights and Tableau a plus Some of the total rewards we offer… Bold Company Vision; we are illuminating the digital landscape by building the first Unified Data AI company Growth; we will make sure you get challenged and grow personally and professionally High-Performing Teams; we ensure that you are surrounded by top talent to solve complex problems Global Environment: we serve 1500+ global customers and have team members in 14+ countries Unlimited Paid Leave (USA) as long as you promise to come back!
