The *Accounts Payable Specialist *responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Performing accounts payable duties, supporting receivables, general accounting, and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable.

*Accounts Payable Specialist - Tasks and Responsibilities:*
* Review and verify invoices and check requests
* Sort, code, and match invoices
* Set invoices up for payment
* Enter and upload invoices into system
* Prepare and perform check runs
* Reconcile accounts payable transactions
* Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date
* Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
* Maintain vendor files
* Works closely with vendors for credits, discrepancies, & other vendor related inquires
* Support accounts receivable department
*Accounts Payable Specialist - Job Requirements:*
* Intermediate skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
* Well organized, excellent at multi-tasking & problem solving
* Familiar with three way matching
* Productive, self-starter, works well in a team or individually
