City Experiences is seeking a Staff Accountant for our Alcatraz operation in San Francisco.
About You:
This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.
About the Opportunity:
The Staff Accountant will work will the General Manager & Controller to maintain accounting and financial records.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee posting, calculating and verifying of financial data for use in maintaining accounting and financial records
Prepare and calculate various fee schedules and payments
Perform account analysis and reconciliation of cash receipts & various expense accounts
Prepare monthly journal entries
Prepare monthly financial statements
Assist in preparation of annual budgets & audits
Additional task will be assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting desirable
Demonstrates strong technical accounting skills
Working knowledge of Excel is a must
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Ability to solve problems
