About the Role
Gain hands on finance experience as an Intern at Matson working with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury and Investor Relations departments.
The Intern rate of pay is $25/hour.
This position requires the successful candidate to be in-office at our Oakland Corporate office at least 3 days per week.
What you’ll do:
Assist with financial analyses in FP&A, Treasury, and Investor Relations.
Assist in the monthly financial projections update process.
Assist in the preparation of Investor Relations materials.
Assist in the organization of corporate development activities.
Interface with various departments internally to learn the business and obtain information to help drive and support analyses.
Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis, as needed.
You have these skills:
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
And these qualifications:
Rising undergraduate in active pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Prior completion of basic accounting courses required.
Minimum GPA of 3.
0 or higher.
