About the Job:
We are looking for an FP&A Manager to roll up their sleeves and become a critical member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team whose charter is to provide LaunchDarkly leadership with financial and strategic support.
This role will report into the Director of FP&A.
Responsibilities:
Provide financial planning, modeling, and decision support for GTM decisions to drive growth and efficiency.
Partner with Revenue Strategy & Planning on compensation plan modeling, analysis and forecasting.
Develop a deep understanding of the GTM organization to support headcount planning and management.
Ensure cross-functional alignment around GTM resource allocation, track performance through forecasting and variance analysis, and develop recommendations for improvement.
Assist in identifying and tracking key business drivers and metrics to support LaunchDarkly's growth.
Serve as an Adaptive administrator and implement system improvements.
Contribute to and drive process improvements/automation where FP&A is an owner or a stakeholder.
Partner with Accounting on month-end close to ensure accuracy and alignment to forecast.
Provide finance support to CFO and/or other business leaders as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, or related.
Minimum 5 years of FP&A or related experience.
B2B SaaS Sales-led Growth experience is a plus.
Experience partnering with Revenue/Sales organizations.
Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
Highly collaborative and proactive in building effective relationships, bringing clarity where there is ambiguity.
Strong communication skills.
Able to design and implement processes that can scale.
Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Prior experience with ERP and financial planning tools, ideally NetSuite and Adaptive.
Experience with CRM and BI tools is a plus.
SQL proficiency is a HUGE plus.
Pay:
Target pay range for a Level P4 in San Francisco/Bay Area*: $138,000 - $162,000**
LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, degree level, and location.
*Within the United States, our geographic pay zones are defined by counties surrounding major metropolitan areas.
