OPPORTUNITY
Mammoth Biosciences’ 2024 Summer FP&A internship is focused on developing young professionals who are expected to graduate in Winter 2023 / Spring 2024 if from undergraduate programs and in Spring 2025 if from graduate programs.
As an intern on the FP&A team, you will work closely with members of the Finance and Accounting teams to drive results, streamline processes and support execution of the company’s financial strategy.
The ideal candidate will enjoy exercising their analytical and problem-solving skills, and be passionate and curious about CRISPR technology and the Life Sciences industry.
The Mammoth FP&A team seeks to provide meaningful strategic and financial support across our portfolio to help our divisions reach their full potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Hands-on experience in financial statement analysis and consolidation, monthly reviews, and support yearly Long Range Planning (LRP) strategy
Support preparation of management reports, presentations, data gathering and process improvements
Support treasury/cash management and corporate financing/fundraising initiatives
Support ad-hoc analysis utilizing financial and operational data to deliver findings used for improved business decision-making
Exposure to monthly close processes, ERPs, financial planning and other key systems used for business operations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in university or college for at least 1 year before completion (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration) or in a Masters of Business Administration program
Strong knowledge of financial principles and their applications
Ability to perform analyses and mold them into conclusive decisions
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
Demonstrated analytical aptitude and quantitative problem-solving skills
Undergraduate applicants must be able to commit to a 10 -12 consecutive week internship between May - August; 10 consecutive weeks for MBA-level applicants

Ability to understand and communicate complex ideas effectively
Team player that can operate as both a leader and an independent thinker as situations evolve
Interest in working for a mission-driven organization, and particularly interested and curious about the Life Sciences industry
HOURLY RATE: $25 (for undergraduate); $45 (for MBA-level)
