Title: Accountant, Revenue
Reports to: Accounting Manager, Revenue
Primary Function: Revenue Accounting
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: Remote
Summary
Under general supervision of the Accounting Manager, Revenue, within the Accounting division, the Accountant, Revenue is responsible for processing invoices received for payments, compiling, and maintaining account payable records, and assisting the Treasury team as needed.

Primary Responsibilities
Review schedules and reports related to Revenue
Investigate advanced tenant ledger issues
Assist team members to resolve complex issues and answer questions
Communicate with the MIMO (Move-in/Move-out) team daily on outstanding tenant issues
Create billback invoices
Assist with Revenue related cleanup
Ad hoc items as needed
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required or equivalent classes from a 4-year college
Minimum 2 years or more accounting work experience
1+ years of experience with property accounting for joint ventures for institutional real estate investments
Intermediate Excel skills required (filters, sorting, pivot tables, V lookup, etc.
)
Yardi experience a plus
Knowledge of GAAP rules and regulations a plus
Key Skills and Competencies
Detail oriented and able to process large volumes of data with speed and accuracy
Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Able to maintain efficient filing and records retention of financial documents
Strong accounting background including experience with revenue and tenant level transactions
Able to work cross-functionally with other teams including but not limited to legal team, acquisition team, management team, treasury team and finance team
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to communicate internally with team members
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products and Microsoft Windows
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, index and match, etc.
)
Real estate and/or construction and/or property management experience required
Accounting software experience required; Yardi experience preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP rules and regulations preferred
