*Duties and Responsibilities*
· Assist with various monthly and ad hoc financial analysis.
· Assists with the preparation and may independently prepare monthly financial statements.
· Assists with various other financial duties including but not limited to bank compliance, tax filings, and annual audit preparation.
· Maintain cooperate document files.
· Assist with the gathering of data for annual review and multiple income tax filings.
· Cross train with other accounting staff members to serve as backup during absences.
· Prepare billing for various small entities and issue invoices to customers.
· Track and apply payments for same various small entities.
· Assists with accomplishing company and department objectives as requested/needed.
· Performs other related tasks or special projects as may be assigned by the Controller.
· Punctuality and regular attendance are mandatory.
· Assist senior accounting staff with Month End Close:
Gathering information for analysis
Preparing monthly recurring journal entries
Balance Sheet reconciliations weekly/monthly
Preparing monthly bank account reconciliations.
Assist with month end and year end close activities, including but not limited to, reviewing income statements and balance sheet accounts.
Preparing general ledger journal entries
Run close reports
Email close reports to operations managers and business managers.
Print and collate month end financials
Maintain month end and close binders
· Post weekly payroll for all companies.
· Audit Lease/Loan entries
· Assist in all aspects of processing balance sheets, income statements and other financials statements according to company guidelines.
· Assist with reviewing of financial data.
· Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual audits.
· Serve as back up to Sr.
Staff accountant for preparation and payment of excise taxes to TTB.
· Assist with Fixed Asset entries, schedules and tracking software.
· Will be required to obtain notary commission at company’s expense.

· GL accounting and analytical skills.
· Familiarity with clerical practices, office procedures, organized filing and office equipment.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Detail oriented.
· Able to multitask and handle the demands of a busy office with multiple companies.
· Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality, including self-checking your work.
· Problem solving skills.
· Effective team member with initiative.
· Notary Public a plus
*Minimum Qualifications*
· Accounting background with minimum 5 years accounting experience required.
· A degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
· Knowledge of accounting software systems.
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
· Consistent and punctual
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.
00 - $80,000.
