*Job Description:*
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to learn and take ownership of their work.
This role has plenty of opportunities to review work from branches and be the first gateway in reviewing key information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Along with regular communication with our branches, this role will have opportunities to train and assist branch accountants on our systems and processes.
This role is ideal for someone looking to transition from public accounting to a dynamic and innovative work environment.
To successfully deliver in a fast paced working environment you will responsible for:
*Potential Responsibilities:*
* Play a pivotal role in accounting operations by managing close activities, including preparing reconciliation, assisting month end close procedures and preparing manual journal entries
* Oversee and improve our branches accounting processes to ensure timely and accurate accounting close process
* Collaborate cross-functionally with cross-functional teams, branch accounting teams, and external consultants to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with company policies.
* Implement testing and monitoring controls over branch deliverables to maintain accuracy and consistency.
* Working with external auditors to support annual financial audits
* Maintain clear and consistent communication of deliverable status and project progress to stakeholders.
* Performing ad-hoc analyses and special projects as assigned
*Qualifications:*
* 2+ years working as an accountant, auditor, or similar accounting-focused role
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field
* Highly motivated and detail oriented
* Proficient in Multitasking and Timeline Management
* Reliable and Diligent Work Ethic
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible to change
* Familiarity with GAAP Accounting Principles
* Public accounting experience, Big 4 accounting firm preferred
