The Opportunity: The Financial Analyst will be a member of the Sephora BP&A team, assisting with forecasting, financial reporting, planning and analysis for the Technology organization.
This key role offers high visibility working directly with senior leaders and has room for growth in a dynamic team with a great culture.
Essential duties and responsibilities include monthly variance analysis, adjustments to forecast models, maintaining ongoing financial reporting deliverables and involvement in ad-hoc projects as needed.
Position Responsibilities Support the Finance Manager with managing the monthly close, budget/forecast for operating expenses Attend monthly close meetings, assist with the booking of accruals, reconcile budget and forecast variances to actual results, and prepare variance reports Partner with Finance (including Accounting and other BP&A members) and Departmental business partners to effectively manage all finance activities Monitor and review expense trends, and communicate any trends, issues or key risks in a timely fashion Prepare materials for monthly expense reviews with business partners to track actuals and develop and maintain monthly forecast Perform ad hoc analysis to drive data decision making for the leadership team Identify and recommend process improvements as appropriate Skills and Experience Requirements The successful candidate will possess: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field 2 – 3 years of Finance experience Intermediate accounting knowledge required Intermediate Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Excel financial modeling skills and Financial Systems, SAP, Anaplan knowledge is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner cross functionally with all levels of the organization Strict attention to detail, be a motivated self-starter with an ability to set and meet tight deadlines Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and prioritize deliverables in a fast-paced environment The annual base salary range for this position is $97,155.
00 - $108,585.
00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
