*Job Summary*
Tax Associate Director is responsible for accurately preparing and filing state and federal tax documents and develops tax strategies and policies that help the client or business maintain compliance with local and federal tax laws and regulations.
Tax Associate Director works to identify tax problems and propose solutions.
*Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
* Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with US taxation laws and regulations within the agreed timeframe.
* Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns along with related workpapers and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms.
* Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
* Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team, and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
* Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise.
* Identify and mitigate tax risks.
* Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
* Manage and mentor tax team members to greater effectiveness and engagement.
* Coordinate with external auditors and tax reviewers.
* Review and update all tax papers regularly and handle all information data requests.
* Calculate quarterly estimated tax payments.
* Research and respond to various client and tax authority requests.
* Meet ad-hoc tax compliance requests from clients and partners/ investors.
*Qualifications*
* 3+ years of supervisory experience in fund administration or related industry.
* Preferred candidates have a current CPA certification, advanced degree such as a Master’s in Taxation or JD and/or LLM, will also consider related degrees.
* Must be professional and reliable, have a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
* Extensive tax knowledge related to fund administration and understanding of U.
S.
partnership taxation.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax software.
* Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.
00 - $130,000.
00 per year
