Accounts Payable Coordinator

Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payment - Review and reconcile vendor statements - Maintain vendor files and update information as needed - Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and accruals - Prepare and analyze various reports related to accounts payable - Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as requested Skills: - Proficiency in Workday, QuickBooks, and ADP software - Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and data entry - Familiarity with governmental accounting principles and regulations - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Note: Experience in corporate accounting is preferred but not required.
