SUMMARY: This position provides clerical assistance to the Accounting Department.
To include filing paperwork, performing data entry, scanning documents, receiving and sorting mail, and any other tasks that contribute to the function of the Accounting Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide accounting and clerical support to the Accounting Department.
Maintain accounting data base in Vista by performing daily data entry included but not limited to AP, AR, and general ledger entries.
Maintain accounting records by making copies, scanning and filing documents.
Processes in-coming mail; sort and prioritize distribution.
Participates in the weekly rotation of the front desk phone coverage.
Attend education and development training as needed.
Other activities as may be requested by the Assistant CFO or Controller.

Physical Presence: Regular and predictable physical presence in the corporate office is an essential qualification for this position due to the importance of the aggressive timeframes under which the employee will operate, and the need for face-to-face interaction with the Accounting team to properly perform job-related functions.
