Your Role
The Internal Auditor Consultant will report to the Internal Audit Senior Director.
In this role you will be responsible for providing objective examinations of evidence for providing independent assessment to the Audit Committee, management and outside parties on the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk, management and control processes.
Your Work In this role, you will: Conduct financial, operational, compliance and pharmacy audits and provide consulting services to the organization’s management and staff Pharmacy audits require using pharmaceutical knowledge to assess pharmacy operations and procedures and compliance with various regulations including the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug plan coverage Assist in identifying and evaluating the organization’s risk areas and provide input to the development of the Annual Audit Plan Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures Identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations using independent judgement concerning areas being reviewed Communicate the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management and the Board of Directors Conduct interviews, review documents, develop and administer surveys, compose summary memos, and prepare working papers Develop and maintain productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meeting Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share information gained with co-workers Perform related work and other duties as assigned by audit management QUALIFICATIONS Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Requires at least 3 years of prior related experience Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Other certifications are a plus Pharmacy Audit experience strongly preferred Pay Range: The pay range for this role is: $ 109120.
00 to $ 163680.
00 for California.
