As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will be required to utilize a strong attention to detail and the ability to work as a team player within the department and the agency.
As an accountant, you will work collaboratively to improve our systems and share strategies to meet the needs of our expanding programs.
The Account Receivable Accountant position is a hybrid role which involves working remotely and from our Oakland headquarters.

Responsibilities:
Assist in processing cash receipts.
Prepare monthly invoicing for rate-based and cost-based contracts.
Monthly revenue tracking and reporting.
Prepare projections for cost-based invoicing.
Research payment discrepancies.
Booking revenue for various contracts.
Support Accounts Receivable Supervisor with the monthly A/R account reconciliations
Support Controller with various projects as needed.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED
Experience/education requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR
Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance + 1 year of accounting experience OR
High school diploma/GED + 2 years of accounting experience
Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet internal and external deadlines.
Able to multi-task and have attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal requirements.
Proof of COVID 19 Vaccination.
PREFERRED
Experience with Sage 100 or Sage Intacct helpful

Full-time
Monday-Friday: 9am - 5:30pm
Benefits:
Starting at $30.
90 - $33.
40 per hour, actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications.
An additional compensation upon passing the bilingual language proficiency exam.
Mileage reimbursement.
